Smt. Lalita Devi Saboo Memorial Trust was created in the year 2001 in the memory of Smt. Lalita Devi Saboo wife of Shri. Madan Lal Saboo. The Trust is registered with the Government of India, Income Tax Dept. U/S 80G. The principal trustees of the trust are Shri Madan Lal Saboo (Chairman), Shri Chandra Shekhar Saboo and Smt. Manju Saboo.
The aim of the trust is to support education, women empowerment, medical services, provide clean drinking water, sports, yoga and meditation camps and providing social and economic support in Nawa City and nearby villages.
Smt. Lalita Devi Saboo was always supportive of and promoted education for girl child and women empowerment. The trustees worked towards delivering the same by which the Government of Rajasthan was overwhelmed and appreciated our trust’s activities by honouring our Chairman Shri Madan Lal Saboo with 'Bhamashah' Award in 2003.
Commencing in 2001 with a purpose to carry on the countless social support of Smt. Lalita Devi Saboo for the women in Nawa City, to now supporting thousands of lives in manifold ways, the trust provides the following funding and facilities:

Since, Smt. Lalita Devi Saboo was always supportive of and in favour of Girl Child Education and Women Empowerment, the trust began its work of social upbringing and service with upgrading the all-girls school in Nawa City and commencing women empowerment programmes. The Senior Secondary Government Girls’ School was equipped with 2 computer rooms with 6 computers, furniture and power back up system. Furthermore, Sports area with basketball court, an upgraded library, school furniture, a well secured boundary wall for the safety and security of students was built and the entire building was repaired and painted with an investment of Rs. 15.00 Lacs. The Government of Rajasthan was overwhelmed and appreciated our trust activities by honouring our Chairman Shri Madan Lal Saboo with 'Bhamashah' Award during the year 2003.
Sankalp was one of the first few initiatives taken by the trust under the management of Smt. Manju Saboo (Trustee) in the year 2001 and is actively running till date. The programme is designed to empower women by educating them with skills such as stitching garments, bags, suits, etc., beautician / parlour work, basic education – to read and write, and similar. Over 2700 women have been taught stitching through the Sankalp Silai School and are now self-sufficient, supporting themselves as well as their families.
The trust has financed setup of computers, construction of bathrooms and classrooms with complete furniture for multiple schools such as, Sharda Bal Niketan and Shyam Bal Niketan in Nawa City as well as nearby villages in Rajasthan
A Medical Bank in the Government hospital in Nawa City is setup at regular intervals to provide free of charge medication to patients in need. Along with basic medicines, the trust also donates and supports the hospital with medical and surgical equipment for the benefit of patients in and around Nawa City.
Regular Yoga and Meditation camps are held, multiple yoga gurus from Rishikesh and Haridwar have been called to Nawa City for 7-10 day yoga and meditation camps. Over twenty-one hundred people have been benefitted through these camps.
The trust has created setup for badminton court, cycling tracks, table-tennis, space for cricket, etc. A Nawa Badminton Club has been setup which has members from the age of 6 to 60, training sessions are held for members interested in learning the sport. Club members have participated in district as well as state level badminton.
Lalit Palace is a magnificent property in the heart of Rajasthan amidst the mighty old Aravalli Hills on the banks of the Sambhar Salt Lake.
Spread over 7.5 acres, Lalit Palace is under administration of Smt. Lalita Devi Saboo Memorial Trust located at Nawa City, Rajasthan, India.
The main building has a stately structure comprising of 3 floors: ground plus two and a basement. Lalit Palace Presently has 20 air-conditioned deluxe rooms and 7 suite rooms, with running hot and cold water round the clock. There is a lift facility available and a reverse osmosis water treatment plan t of 2000 litre per hour capacity to provide safe drinking water for the residents.
The huge auditorium on the ground floor has an area of 6500 sq. feet and 23 feet height.
Parking Lot: 11,000 sq. meter area and gardens and a well-equipped outer kitchen 125 HP electric connection with power backup DG sets.
